The double Shinto ritual is very suggestive, and during the ceremony the bride brings in a white cloth folded head that symbolizes his intention not to show jealousy toward her husband. The bride and groom wear two very lavish kimonos, each drink three times in a bowl with rice and sake. But the fascination for western culture is so strong that the younger generation choose a western wedding, complete with long white gown with veil.
